All the Bluevibe Hotspots are capable of serving mobile devices in a range of up to 80 meters. The Bluetooth modules on the Bluevibe Hotspots are specialized class2 modules, compliant with the Bluetooth 2.0 EDR specification. In order for a mobile device to be able to communicate at 80 meters, it should have a similar or a class 1 bluetooth module installed.

Most mobile phones today, have class2 bluetooth modules, so their range is limited. The Bluevibe Hotspot can communicate with class2 mobile phones at an average tested distance of 25 meters. In case you need greater coverage, we recommend using more than one Bluevibe Hotspots.
